This website, hoppt.com, is operated by Uni-corp (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Hoppt”, “we”, “us”). We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This page explains what the site collects, why, who handles it for us and how long we keep it.
You can browse the whole site without giving us any personal information. If you contact us, we use your details to answer you. We do not sell personal data.
When you contact us. If you send an enquiry through this site, email or call us, we receive what you give us — usually your name, email address, phone number, company, country and your message, including the machine you are asking about. We use it to answer your enquiry and follow it up. To get you the right answer, an enquiry may be passed to Hoppt Australia or to an authorised dealer in your region.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, on what kind of device, from which country, and how visitors found the site (for example a search engine, a social network, an AI assistant or a campaign link). This does not tell us who you are. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_… that last up to two years. The site also sets its own cookie, acq_first, for 180 days. It records how you first arrived — the kind of channel (such as “search” or “social”), the name of the referring website (not the full address), any campaign tag, the first page you landed on and the date — so we can see which channels bring visitors. It holds no name or contact details. These cookies are set only while analytics is switched on.
Kept only in your browser. A few preferences are saved in your browser and never sent to us: the machines you add to Compare, the lite display mode, and which menu groups you have open. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.
The video on the home page is played from Vimeo with its “do not track” setting, so Vimeo does not set tracking cookies. Like any web request, Vimeo receives your IP address in order to send the video.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical request data — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a short period only.
Enquiries are kept for 24 months after the last message and then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the service they perform:

Some of these providers are outside Singapore. When personal data leaves Singapore, we make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA, as the law requires.
Access and correction. You can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct it. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the amount before we proceed.
Withdrawing consent. You can ask us to stop using your personal data. We will stop, although we may then be unable to answer or follow up your enquiry.
Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics.

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who answer enquiries can see them. No system is completely secure; if a data breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission where the law requires it.
This site is for businesses and trade buyers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
